Join us for a Free Tree Giveaway hosted by the Valdosta Tree Commission! 🌳 Thanks to the U.S. Forest Service's Urban & Community Forestry (UCF) program grant, we're able to distribute over 620 trees to our community. In collaboration with state partners and community tree groups, this initiative aims to enhance our urban and community forest, covering more than 140 million acres across the United States! 🌍

📍: VSU North Campus, 200 Pendleton Drive
🌱 Each tree comes in a 5-gallon container and boasts a variety of species and sizes at maturity, including White Oak, Live Oak, Chinese Pistache, and more! 🌳🍃
📚 Educational materials will also offer species information, links to instructional planting videos, and valuable tree care tips for homeowners and residents. 📝
