To maintain and provide a safe, efficient, clean, comfortable, and optimal environment for operations within the City of Valdosta facilities and grounds in a fiscally responsible manner for an ever changing workforce, society, and environment.
The Facilities Management Division provides the highest standards for the sustainability of city operations and rental property satisfaction. The Facility Management Division is responsible for the general maintenance, contract management, property management, project management, procurement, and custodial functions of city-owned properties. These services include but are not limited to managing the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, masonry, event facility rentals, grounds, landscapes, renovations, demolitions, and repairs of city buildings and facilities.
