Virtual Public Hearing for the City of Valdosta’s Grant Allocation under the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act (CDBG-CV) Program from the U.S. Department for Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

On Friday, August 14th at 3:30 p.m., The City of Valdosta’s Neighborhood Development Division will host a virtual public hearing where citizens will be presented an overview of the Temporary Utility Grant program being proposed for the $387,715 awarded to the City in CDBG-CV funding. Due to our continued adherence to the current COVID-19 public gathering guidance, we are unable to present the public hearing in the traditional, in-person format. Citizens will have an opportunity to listen to the overview and will be given the information on how to comment during the five (5) day public comment period. The five (5) day public comment period will begin on August 14, 2020 and continue until August 19, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
