How to do Business with the City
The provision of vital services to our citizens is to ultimately the result of a successful partnership between the departments of city government and the vendor community, which provides the goods and services needed to support the city's operations. The Purchasing Department has provided a How to do business with the City Guide to help companies effectively conduct business with the city. It is recommended you read the Guide in it's entirety.
Valdosta Bidders List
Businesses interested in providing goods or services to the City of Valdosta must first be approved to become a registered vendor.
If a City department is interested in doing business with your company, you will be asked to complete the Vendor Registration Form and submit the required documentation. A downloadable Vendor Registration Form is available at the bottom of this page.
To complete the registration process, you must provide:
- A completed Vendor Registration Form
- A current IRS Form W-9
- A completed E-Verify Affidavit
The Vendor Registration Form requests basic business information, including the goods and services your company provides. The required E-Verify Affidavit is available through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Registered vendors are responsible for notifying the Purchasing Division in writing of any changes to their business information, including:
- Company name
- Mailing or physical address
- Contact information
- Goods or services provided
