Lowndes County - Food Resources During School Closure
Recognizing many students eat two meals a day at school, Lowndes County Schools is opening five school cafeterias to provide meals to students. Minimizing contact is key in managing COVID-19; therefore, these are all Drive-Thru events.
Meals will be given on the following days: Monday, March 30th, Wednesday, April 1st, and Friday, April 3rd:
Food will be available at the following schools for any student enrolled in a Lowndes County School: Hahira Middle School, Lowndes Middle School, Pine Grove Middle School, Moulton Branch Elementary School, and Clyattville Elementary School from 12:00-1:00 pm. Pick up near the kitchen door at each school.
***Student(s) MUST be with the parent at the pickup site. If the student is sick and unable to come, parents can pick up the food for the student if they provide a note from a doctor.***
Meal Pickup Schedule:
Monday: You will pick up a meal for lunch on Monday; breakfast and lunch for Tuesday; and breakfast for Wednesday.
Wednesday: You will pick up a meal for lunch on Wednesday; breakfast and lunch for Thursday and breakfast for Friday.
Friday: You will pick up a meal for lunch on Friday; breakfast and lunch for Saturday.
