Kick- Off Valdosta Early College Academy (VECA) Mock Trial

The City of Valdosta Municipal Court host mock trials with STEM Students at the municipal court at 10:30 a.m.

Utilities Read to W.G. Nunn

The Utilities department reads to students at W.G. Nunn in preparation for GMAS testing.

GA Cities Week Proclamation & First Responders Appreciation Video

The Mayor presents a proclamation in recognition of the official Georgia Cities Week of activities! The City of Valdosta shows appreciation to our first responders through  social media outlets.

Neighborhood Development Tour & Lunch

Public Works Essay Contest

The Public Works Department will host a school-wide essay contest for all Valdosta City School district middle schools. On Tuesday, April 25th, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners will be announced on Facebook Live and receive their prize(s) that following Monday after GMAS testing is over. The essay deadline will be April 18th. More information to come.

Coffee with the Chiefs

Join the Police and Fire Chief for coffee at GUD coffee located in Downtown Valdosta! From 7:30 am - 9:00 am have coffee and conversations with the chiefs and a photo!

Painting in the Park (Hosted by Neighborhood Development)

Join the Neighborhood Development Department as they hosts "Painting in the Park".   This free event will require registration.
