1. Eligibility:
• Must be a resident of the City of Valdosta
• Property must be owner-occupied
2. Tree Availability:
• Tree species chosen and approved by the City Arborist
• Availability may be limited
3. Submit a Request:
• Click the "Submit Request" button to complete the application form

📅 When to Apply?

• Apply now! Applications are reviewed in the order received.

🌱 What Happens Next?

• City Arborist Consultation to discuss tree type and location
• Planting Season: October – March
• Scheduling: May be weeks in advance; you’ll receive a reminder
• Presence Required: You must be home on planting day
• Maintenance: You agree to care for and water the tree
• Tree Installation: City handles planting and utility locate
• Waterbag Available: Provided on request

📌 Program Requirements

• Must live in City of Valdosta
• Property must be owner-occupied
• One-year care commitment from the owner
• Tree limit per property
• Tree must be planted in front yard right-of-way
